Terms

Version 1 · October 2026

These are the terms for using Acrefile. Acrefile is run by Badgair Bros LLC in the Chippewa Valley, Wisconsin. They apply to everyone who signs in: growers, the people on a grower's record, and agronomists and their businesses. By signing in, you agree to them.

Your record

  • A grower owns their record: farms, fields, soil tests, maps, yields, tickets and costs. Badgair Bros holds it for them.
  • Who can see a record, and what each person sees, is on the Privacy page.

What AI writes

  • Some of what Acrefile shows is written by AI: the assistant's answers, the soil reading, what's read from a lab report or a ticket photo, and drafts for an agronomist. Each is marked.
  • AI can be wrong, leave things out, or be out of date. Check anything that matters against your record, or with your agronomist, before you act on it.
  • What AI writes isn't agronomic advice. A recommendation is your agronomist's, signed with their name.
  • Don't use the assistant for anything harmful or against the law.

Using Acrefile

  • Upload only what you have the right to share.
  • Sign in as yourself. Don't try to break the site, get around its limits, or reach a record that isn't yours to see.
  • A business that works in growers' records also accepts the Business agreement.

The pilot

  • Acrefile is free during the pilot. It's provided as is. We work to keep it running and your record safe, but we can't promise it never fails.
  • As far as the law allows, Badgair Bros isn't liable for decisions made from what the site shows, or for losses from using it.
  • We can change Acrefile or end the pilot. If it ends, the Privacy page says what happens to your record.
